Thanks for your honesty. Saying what you did takes courage, it also shows you care.

There is a God that makes sense…at least to me and others I know who have been through similar thoughts concerning christianity and other religions/belief systems.

I identify most with this letter so far. There were a few ridiculous things that happened, but I don’t have a hate for the Church or Christianity. I just refuse to believe that, if there is a God, He is that narrow minded. I don’t think you can know as much as He would know and still be a Christian.

I could tell by your letter than you have wrestled long and hard with the notion of God. I could also tell that you have a good grasp of the atrocities that are going on in our world today and share the confusion that many have when trying to answer the question “If there is a God, how can he allow this?”

I don’t claim to have an answer and in reality I am right alongside of you asking similar questions. I do really appreciate the sense of compassion and concern I sense in your letter. Thanks for writing it.
