Kicked out for unrequited love

I didn’t leave but was forced to go. I shared my feelings with a girl who was in a leadership position (taking Bible studies) and she didn’t return my feelings. She then proceeded to talk to the pastor about it, who demanded that I leave and referred me on to another Church because the girl felt uncomfortable with me there. I felt like it contradicted James chapter 2 as believers ought not to show favouritism, and if she had a problem why didn’t she leave instead? So I continued to show up. I would say hello to them but they ignored me and would change seats if I went to sit with them. After the second time a trespass order was issued against me and they threatened to call the police if I ever turned up again.

Trespass orders last for two years here and since that time the girl has left the Church and is in a pre-marital sexual relationship. I no longer have faith anymore either, because if God’s love is shown through the way we treat one another (1 John 3) then I no longer believe that Jesus changes people to become better people.
