Tim Bower

Tim and his beautiful wife Mariah live in Los Alamitos, CA and Tim is studying Theology and Arts at Fuller Theological Seminary.  He loves the Beatles, USC Trojan football, and watching 30 Rock. You can find him spending more money than he should at his local indie record store or trying to hide the vegetables he didn’t eat from his wife, by placing them under his napkin. Some people never grow up.

Jason Loftis

Jason is a full-time web designer living in San Diego county with his wife, Dara, and son, Jay.

In 2008, Jason wrapped up graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary’s Brehm Center, a unique school dedicated to an integrated study of art, culture, and theology. Letters from Leavers represent the fruit of his parallel pursuits in theological training and web production during his 3 years at Fuller.

It was Jason’s privilege to become a Slacker after graduation. He learned a great deal as a visual designer with the internet radio startup. But alas, he was among the casualties of the economic downturn only 9 months into the gig. But he took the lay off as an opportunity to hone his skills as a freelancer. A variety of projects for small businesses, churches, and individuals refined his technical knowledge and pushed his art in new directions. What started as an experiment, is now a growing small business of my own.

Jason is originally from Chicagoland. His life adventures have included working with butchers, managing a warehouse, editing video for a media company, serving as a missionary in the Philippines, and pastoring young adults in Orange County. He doesn’t eat enough vegetables, but he’s never come across a plate of buffalo wings he didn’t like. He believes Over the Rhine is the best band you’ve never heard of and AngleBall is the coolest sport you’ve never played. Going to movies and reading crime novels are his occasional distractions. Jason has good intentions of riding his mountain bike and working out at the gym more often. Dara will believe it when she sees it.
