Three Easy Steps…
1. REGISTER A USER ACCOUNT. Fill in your desired username and an active email address. You will receive an email with a password and a link to the site’s login screen. Also, be sure to select “Publish Letter” as your membership role.
2. EDIT YOUR PROFILE. Once you log into your account, it will automatically take you to your member account profile. Immediately edit your password to something you can remember in the future. Fill out anything else in the profile that you like. Please feel free to use a pseudonym if you want to remain anonymous — just fill in the nickname you want to use as your ID on this site.
3. SUBMIT YOUR LETTER. Click on the “Posts” tab in the left navigation column. Then select “Add New.” This will open the post publish form. The tools in the post editor are similar to those found in most email software. Please fill out the survey below the text editor. Click “Submit for Review“ to save your letter as a draft. The LFL moderators will review the letter to make sure it complies with our guidelines, and then publish it to the blog.
Alternative Method:
If the “three easy steps” don’t seem as easy as advertised, you get stuck in the process, or something goes technically wrong, you may fill out a simple online form and attach a document with your letter, and we will publish it for you.
Click here to use the alternate online form to send us your letter as a document.
Basic Guidelines:
There are a few ground rules that we ask contributors to this site to kindly follow.
- Do Not Name Names. Please do not name any specific people or specific church names as this will go against the spirit of the website as a place to create constructive dialogue.
- Be Articulate. By no means do we want to censor your thoughts or feelings, but we also ask that you refrain from using excessive profanity to express them.
- Use the Comments to Clarify Your Thoughts. As reflected in our guidelines for comment writers, it is the intention of the site administrators that the comments remain respectful and constructive. Despite our best intentions, there will be commenters that may attempt to debate you, proselytize, or otherwise offend you. Please be patient and extend forebearance, and use the comment function to constructively clarify your letter in reply to your entry’s responses.

REGISTER.
Choose a username. Be sure to provide a valid email address because your password will be emailed to you. Also, be sure to select “Publish Letter” as your membership role.
EDIT YOUR PROFILE.
Be sure to change your password to something you’ll remember. Also, you can fill in your name and include any other info about yourself that you like. Feel free to use a pseudonym if you want to remain anonymous — just fill in a nickname for use on this site.
SUBMIT YOUR LETTER.
The text editor is much like an email program. You can cut and paste text into the editor but be sure it is plain text and not something already formatted by MS Word. To get plain text, just save your document as a file with the .txt extension before you copy its contents over. Or use the button in the toolbar that has an icon with a “T” on a clipboard and follow its instructions. Filling out the survey info helps place your letter in context relative to the other submissions and makes this site more useful.
EDIT YOUR LETTER.
After submitting and closing the publish post form, you may return to the post form to make edits to your letter. Just click on the “Posts” text link under the “Posts” tab in the left navigation column in the blog’s control panel. Then, click the title of your letter to open the post edit form.
